MESI Studios, LLC is Erika's business of custom tile work, indoor and outdoor painted murals, custom security doors and gates, and functional pottery such as plate sets, cups and mugs, and sinks. The name MESI Studios has several meanings. Of course the funny one, messy studios is pretty self explanatory. Then there is Mesi, which is the word for the great horned owl in the native language Dena Ina of her tribe, Kenaitze. And then there is the MESI - Metal, Earth, Sculpture, and she hasn't figured out what the "I" stands for yet.
